Michigan State’s student newspaper dubs the Spartans’ recent victory as “Spartan Revenge” for ND’s amazing second half comeback against MSU last year. I personally don’t think that squeaking by a lousy Notre Dame team exacted any measure of revenge for the Sparties. Perhaps if Michigan State had beaten Notre Dame 63-0 then they could claim some revenge. After last year’s Notre Dame game, Michigan State’s season went down the toilet. Their 2006 loss to Notre Dame will sting for years to come.
