Michigan State’s post-game celebration vs. Notre Dame – when will the annual Michigan State meltdown occur?
Remaining Notre Dame Schedule:
9/29 at Purdue – Purdue is currently 4-0 with wins over several MAC teams and Minnesota. Their close game with Minnesota suggests that they are not that good. Still, they are undefeated and may give a deflated Notre Dame team an 0-5 start.
10/06 at UCLA – UCLA is 3-1 and just beat Washington (which may suggest that Washington is not back and Ohio State’s victory over them is rather meaningless). Since this game is at UCLA, Notre Dame may continue reeling.
10/13 Boston College – BC didn’t look good against Army but they are 4-0 and ranked 14th in the country. This could spell more doom for Notre Dame.
10/20 USC – forget about it!
11/03 Navy – Navy seems to be a scrappy team despite taunts and insults from Rutgers fans. Navy is currently 2-2 with an overtime loss to Ball State – they could continue Notre Dame’s goose egg.
11/10 Air Force – Air Force is 3-1 with one victory being over Utah who beat UCLA. It doesn’t get easier for ND.
11/17 Duke – Duke did beat Northwestern 20-14 and came within a field goal of beating Navy at Annapolis. This is no sure thing for the Irish.
11/24 at Stanford – Stanford got blown out by UCLA and Oregon but does have a win against San Jose State and this game is at Stanford. The cards are in place for a Notre Dame winless season!
