There are those who predicted that Ohio State would have 4 to 5 losses this year. They predicted losses to Washington, Penn State, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. Now that there are but three games left to lose, I’m sure we all anxiously await the revisions of their predictions.
They posted “reminder” videos of the last OSU regular season loss from two years ago to Penn State. But old game film of different players from a different season doesn’t really inform us of much, does it?
Oh, the dreaded “White Out.” It was pleasing to see so many people get excited enough about a college football game to wear their team colors to a game. But it didn’t really do much on the field, did it?
That was a complete domination. OSU put 37 points onto the seventh ranked defense in the nation at that defense’s own house. They could have had more if it were not for Tressel’s time-honored strategy of running the ball in the second half with a big lead to kill the clock.
Michigan fans will say that they beat PSU as well. But that was in Ann Arbor. And comparing results against common opponents is of dubious efficacy. November 18 2007 can’t get here fast enough. Don’t worry, Michigan fans, with three losses you still get to go to a bowl.

Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
