While I agree with goblue on the importance of offensive line play in general, most of his other points are silly.
1) Joe Pa didn’t trust Morelli to throw downfield against OSU. Llllloyd Carr might not think that a bad strategy.
2) I didn’t see any uncalled penalties. There may have been confusion over some early contact by Donald Washington on one downfield pass, but the ball was 15 yards past the receiver. If there were some, they are as much a part of the game as when Larry Grant got a 15 yarder for a dead ball personal foul on a punt when the ball was still rolling and the whistle had not been blown. I also saw a pretty neat no call early in the game when PSU DB Sean Lee had his left arm wrapped around Brian Hartline to break up a first down reception on the first OSU drive of the game.
3) Penn State had one successful drive v. the OSU defense. After that, their ground game consisted of a few draws up the middle and that was that.
4) Your point about Musberger is silly, but Musberger is silly, so I have to forgive you.
5) After OSU beats PSU, PSU is just another Big Ten Team. But you were posting their videos just a few days ago (videos which proclaimed that they were “back”) and predicting a 17-10 win. They are back all right. Back into the middle of the pack in the Big Ten where they belong.
6) OSU is missing the best DE in the Big 10 (Lawrence Wilson) and one of their best DTs, Todd Denlinger. Chris Wells has been injured all season with bone chips floating around in his ankle and he is still dragging the seventh ranked defense in the nation for three yards after contact.
7) If OSU is no good, why did PSU have to play a perfect game to beat them?
8) We’ll handle Illinois just fine, and PSU played the Illini in Champaign.
9) We don’t get to play easy win Indiana this year.
10) Michigan played PSU in the Big House. In fact, Michigan plays 8 home games this year, and only four road games. OSU played PSU at Happy Valley.

Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
