Sports Illustrated’s website is claiming that Ryan Mallett is already attending classes at the University of Arkansas. This means, under NCAA transfer rules that he must sit out for a year but he will be eligible to play in 2009. Looks like the SEC just got an influx of talent at QB. Mallett, originally from nearby Texas, chose a razorback team that just bled quite a bit of talent itself. Sports Illustrated is also reporting that RBs Darren McFadden and Felix Jones are both leaving college for the NFL.
This means that the starting QB job at Michigan is Terrelle Pryor’s for the asking at this point. The question is, does he want it with the barren talent landscape in Ann Arbor right now?
One person that Terrelle Pryor will not have to pass to if he goes to Michigan next year will be Mario Manningham. Sports Illustrated is also reporting that Manningham is leaving early for the pros. Will Adrian Arrington be next? Rich Rodriguez has been quoted as saying that he does not expect to be coaching Arrington in 2008.

Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
