| Chris Spielman and the rest of the staff on 1460 the fan had already penciled in Ohio State’s win against Michigan as early as last week. This would be the victory that would help the Buckeyes sew up a spot in the NCAA tournament. Just like most Buckeye fans however, Spielman gave his Buckeyes way too much credit.
Hey Chris, it’s really this simple – when Ohio State gets punched in the mouth – be it in football or basketball – they usually quit. And guess what, Michigan punched Ohio State in the mouth repeatedly and Ohio State quit. So much for the NCAA tournament. Watchout NIT – here come the Buckeyes! I can’t wait to hear what Spielman has to say on Monday about the Michigan beatdown of Ohio State. Is he just going to resort to his usual football player mentality and rant about how OSU’s basketball team just didn’t suck it up? Is he going to tell us that OSU’s players needed to play with more conviction? Did Ohio State need to fight as if their lives depended upon winning? Yeah, it’s getting pretty old, Chris. By the way, Ohio State’s football team is not a national title contender either, Spiels. |

Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
