Ohio State fans are holding out hope that Wells will play against USC. It ain’t going to happen given Tressel’s last words on Mike & Mike In the Morning. Even if he does play, he’ll be lucky to be 70% effective and that ain’t going to cut it against USC. If Wells is all Ohio State has, it’s going to be a long night for the Buckeyes.
9/13 update at 10:41 am – as predicted Wells won’t play against USC. I further predict that he’ll be out another 3-4 weeks. Sooner or later, Tressel will have to reveal the true nature of the injury. Bring him back too soon and he’ll be applying for a medical redshirt.
Trojans are paying a lot of lip-service to the OSU defense. Should be an interesting matchup of home-run ball by USC vs. Tressel conservatism. Be prepared for a lot of punishment on Boeckman who doesn’t have the poise or the talent in big games.

Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
