Without Chris “Beanie” Wells, Ohio State’s offense and confidence take a serious hit. Both defenses will play well, and it will not be a scorefest.

Last week’s slide to the contrary, the Buckeyes match up well with the Trojans. Expect a hard-hitting game punctuated by big plays. The curious really want to see Terrelle Pryor make an impact.

Even without Beanie, Ohio State’s seniors want to show last week was an aberration. The senior leadership on this team will rise to the occasion and the defense will come up big.

The Buckeyes go in as underdogs, with everybody doubting them, especially with Beanie’s situation. He’s not going to play, which is a shame. But I know the defense is going to lay it on the line.

38-14? I should have said 42-17. It’s college football, anything can happen. I’m, of course, dying to see SC win. I think it’ll be a close game early and I think SC will pull away in the third and fourth quarters.
