With Ohio State out of the national championship race and Michigan at 3-8, does anyone really care about “The” game this year. It seems to be a foregone conclusion that Ohio State will win and Michigan will lose. Or perhaps it has been a grand deception. Perhaps Steven Threet and Nick Sheridan have been missing all those passes on purpose. Perhaps the Michigan defenders have been missing all those tackles on purpose. Perhaps all those Michigan running backs are faking injury. Perhaps the Michigan team threw the Toledo game. And this was done to lull the Buckeyes into a false sense of security. Well I’m not buying it.
It doesn’t look good for Michigan on Saturday. Throughout the week, I will follow up with a daily breakdown of how each team’s components stack up for “t”he game.
