I rarely visit CollegeFootballNews.com anymore. I’ve determined that the writers are huge Buckeye fans and their reporting is skewed towards the Buckeyes.
Here are the latest examples:
1 – Pete Fiutak complains about Ohio State dropping to 11th in the polls after losing a close game to #3 USC. Fiutak argues that Ohio State should be ranked fourth at the very least. Well Pete, that’s just too damn bad. Maybe voters see the Buckeyes as that same old team that folds in big games. If you can’t win big games (especially at home) then you don’t deserve to be in the top ten. Let’s not forget the near defeat at the hands of Navy as well. Pete’s crying will only get louder and his argument will weaken when Ohio State loses to a Big Ten team or two in the near future.
2 – Matt Zemek argues that the Buckeyes should be given a break because they’ve won 3 Big Ten titles in the last decade and conference titles are “the truest measure of college football excellence and consistency.”
Hey Matt, wakeup dumbass! The Big Ten has pretty much sucked over the last decade. Would Ohio State have won even one conference title in the SEC, Big 12 or Pac 10 in the last decade. I doubt it. “The truest measure of college football excellence and consistency” – what a complete idiot!

In a rare example where Ohio State and Michigan Football fans actually come together and hopefully create something of value, we have started the Ohio State vs. Michigan Football blog. We offer our opinions on anything and everything related to Ohio State and Michigan Football. While we participate in some gentle ribbing, in the end, all is meant in good fun. Feel free to leave your comments and come back to our blog often.
Two turnovers at home and Penn State only scores 17 points? And then they say “We’re back!”?
It will take more than a video of a game from 2005 to beat OSU this year. Though, after we beat Penn State, you can still watch your video and imagine what might have been, if it makes you feel better.
