Although you probably won’t see it reported in The Detroit News, Jacob Fisher (offensive lineman from Traverse City, 6’7″, 270 lbs.) chose Michigan over Michigan State. I wouldn’t be surprised if Coach Permascowl (Mark Dantonio) has been playing up the “uncertainty” at Michigan’s head coaching position but apparently not many recruits are listening.
Another recruiting battle is being waged for Detroit Southeastern linebacker, Ed Davis. Davis has stated that he will announce his decision on August 27. Other schools are also in the mix. Michigan was the first major program to offer Davis which may play into his decision.
