According to the Dispatch, former OSU football player Derrick L. Foster is charged with shooting two Columbus police officers during a late night drug raid. Foster was a defensive end for the Buckeyes, on the team from 1989 to 1992. He is a 1988 graduate of Dayton Patterson High School and red-shirted his freshman year at OSU. [...]

I can hear Bob Barker’s voice, though he is no longer on television.  The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that Justin Boren, formerly the Center for the Michigan Wolverine’s offensive line last year and son of ex-Wolverine linebacker Mike Boren, attended one of OSU’s spring practices yesterday.

Chris Wells ran for 560 yards in his freshman year and set a sophomore record last year with over 1600 yards rushing.  When asked today if he thought he was a candidate for the Heisman, he said that he was, and that he was looking forward to his first full year without an injury.
