There is no confirmation by the University of Michigan that David Brandon has fired Rich Rodriguez. Detroit newspaper, radio and television sources have jumped the gun and have no basis for their claim that Rodriguez was fired. No decision will be issued until Wednesday, January 5 at the earliest. Don’t believe everything you read.
